3. Process difference
First of all, the difference of the process is that the hot steel reinforcing mesh can be extracted by immersing the workpiece in the solution of zinc (zinc) after oil removal, acid pickling, chemical soaking and drying for a certain period of time.
Cold steel is also called electric steel. It uses electrolytic equipment to put the workpiece into zinc salt solution after oil removal and acid pickling, and connect the negative pole of the electrolytic equipment; place zinc plate on the opposite side of the workpiece to connect the positive pole of the electrolytic equipment, connect the power supply, use the current to move from the positive pole to the negative pole, and a layer of zinc will be deposited on the workpiece.
Difference of steel products: the surface of hot steel mesh is not as bright as that of cold steel, but the thickness of zinc layer is dozens of times of that of cold steel. The number of open welding at the intersection of building reinforcement mesh shall not exceed 1% of the total number of intersections of the whole mesh. And the number of open welding points on any reinforcement shall not exceed half of the total number of intersections on that reinforcement. No welding shall be carried out at the intersection of the outermost reinforcement of the fabric. The anti-corrosion performance of hot steel mesh is dozens of times of that of electric steel.
4. Environmental issues
The pollutant emission of hot steel mesh is less.
The main pollutant of hot steel mesh is the waste acid of pickling workpiece.
The pollutants of cold steel mainly include waste acid, electroplating waste liquid, waste passivation liquid, etc.
The type and quantity of pollutant emission of cold steel are much more than that of hot steel.
